Why the sad face, Charlie? It is hard to believe it has been almost 8 months since the good people at Spectrum 8 Theatres offered me a spot, but here it is, a brand new photography exhibition open from February 23rd to April 5th, 2011. Olana on the Frozen Hudson

Perched on a hill overlooking the Hudson Valley is a rather peculiar villa. The Olana State Historic Site was the home of Frederic Edwin Church, one of the major figures in the Hudson River School of landscape painting. It is difficult to affix one single style to this beautiful mansion, though “Persian” would be a good start, and it has a ring to it. Last Saturday I attended Exit Dome IV, a benefit show for local radio WEXT 97.7 featuring some great 518 performers. WEXT has been playing local music a lot for about four years now, I can get behind the idea of returning the favor.
