Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day. Another great morning in the Capital District. People gathered en masse near the Education Building to cheer the Memorial Parade 2010. While I have strong opinions on the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, now is not the time: there is an obvious respect to be paid to those who helped liberate my country back then. Art Auction for Tess’ Lark Tavern

One of my favorite place in Center Square, Tess' Lark Tavern, suffered a very serious fire a couple of weeks ago. Nobody got hurt, but it seems this pillar of Center Square will be closed for a while. Lark Tavern is one of the many reasons I bought a house in this neighborhood; I've many great memories of this place, shared with friends and foes.
